This use case is concerned with helping organizations find educational offerings that optimally match their workforce upskilling needs. The users are employees in human resource departments. Currently, the process to find matching offerings is manual by first “observing” the environmental developments as well as the development of the skills of the workforce to identify the need for skill development, then sifting through available offerings to identify ones to address the skill gap. For human resource departments, DataGEMS services will reduce the time for searching for continuing education offerings to keep the skills of their workforce current. Universities offering upskilling courses, like DHBW, will benefit from an increased utilization of their offerings, and will be able to improve their catalog addressing more effectively upskilling requirements.
